Highly recommended Tumaini and his team were such a good choice for our 3day hike to Udzungwa mountains! Everything was arranged very smoothly, and Tumaini was happy to help us with any questions or problems. Very professional and he knows what European tourists like and need. The guide who hiked with us up the mountains, Paul, was also super friendly and professional, we had a great time!!. If you want to experience tanzanian nature away from the beaten trek, and have experiences that other tourists will not have: go for the udzungwa hike with wilds of africa! A few tips for the hike:- the hike requires reasonable fitness. - You're a few days in nature, so expect basic amenities.-bring good hiking boots, preferably covering your ankle- the porters carry the big items, but bring a backpack that can carry your clothes, raincoat, water and lunch for the day. Some plastic bags to keep your things dry in case of rain are recommended

Trip from Dar to Iringa visiting Mikumi and Udzungwa Nationalpark Tumaini and Khalifa picked us up in Dar fot a two days trip. At the first day we went for a very nice Safari in Mikumi. Khalifa ist es very good driver in all kinds of roads, he drove uS very safe and knew everything about wild animals, birds an trees. Tumaini was a very good guide. The communication was very good and uncomplicated from the first contact to him from Germany until all WE wanted to know during the trip. At the second day the took us to Udzungwa Nationalpark, where we hiked with two Rangers to the Sanje Waterfall. IT was marvellous to walk trough the rainforest and take a bath in the Pool of the Waterfall. After the hiking Tumaini und Khalifa transfered us to Iringa. Trips with these two guys I can highly recommend.

Great choice for solo traveler in Malawi I made a last minute plan to have a two-days trip to Liwonde National Park in Malawi with the Wilds of Africa. Francis was very responsive and able to accommodate my trip plan. The driver, MacLean, is fantastic. He is friendly, polite and patient. I felt safe travelling with him as a solo traveler. I enjoyed my time in the Kutchire Lodge and had a great safari experience in Malawi. I wish I can come back with my family and take a trip to another national park in different countries. Thank you, Francis and MacLean!

The best tour guide in Tanzania First, I must say something about the review that was posted saying that Wilds of Africa was an absolutely horrible tour guide and that they left them on the side of the road. There is no way that Francis, who is the owner operator of Wilds of Africa would have ever left anyone on the side of the road. So please discount that if you're looking for a fun time. I was in Malawi on a medical mission and had a free weekend. At the last minute, I found Wilds of Africa and Francis put together a two-day tour of Liwonda National Park. Francis and his driver were fantastic. They were friendly outgoing and just fun to be around. They took excellent care of me. The lodging at the National Park was fabulous. A fantastic room, good food, and even some cultural entertainment Saturday night. It was one of the highlights of my trip. So if you want to have a great time with someone who will take very good care of you book your Safari with Wilds of Africa.

Highly recommended, thanks for everything! Last 3 days we did a tour to Mikumi National Park & Udzungwa Mountains National Park. What a wonderful experience and great guidance! Everything was arranged perfectly. Francis and Hassan were so nice and helpful. They told us so much about the country, the animals and nature. Our overnight stays were in a beautiful place next to the Mikumi National Park, the food and service were excellent.During the safari trip we spotted elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeest, impalas, zebras, various types of monkeys and birds. And from this close, I really didn't expect that! The hike in Udzungwa National Park is definitely recommended; the waterfalls and the view are really beautiful. All in all an unforgettable trip! Wilds of Africa Tours & Travel has so many options in terms of tours; I recommend it to everyone!Asante sana Francis & Hassan!

Amazing experience! We went for a 3 day private tour with Wilds of Africa to Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa Mountains National Park. We went with Tumaini Francis and driver Hassan. We had the best time! They are both great guides that work hard to give you a great experience. They are punctual, speak english very well, and both have a lot of knowledge about the places we visited and wildlife we encountered. Because of that we got to see so many animals up close and we learned a lot. The accomodation they booked was beautiful. What made the tour extra fun were the nice conversations and laughs we had with them. I highly recommend!(P.s I seriously do not recognize any of the negative comments made by the anonymous reviewer down below.)

DO NOT USE Terrible - do not use. Driver could not speak English and failed to communicate any plans. Car broke down on first day, driver left the vehicle multiple times without explaining the plan and not given food for over 5 hours. Unsafe driving - almost got into a car accident. Accommodation was changed without us being informed. General advice - drive from Selous to Mikumi is c. 8 hours so bear this in mind if booking this tour option.
