Depending on flight availability, the departure time from the hotel is either 5 am or 4 am. The flight leaves at 0700 hrs and arrives in Mikumi Airstrip at 0810 hrs. Upon your arrival our guide will meet and greet you and provide a brief overview of your game drive in Mikumi. Riding in a 4×4 safari vehicle, you will explore the park and its wildlife from an open-sided vehicle. You may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebras, and leopards during this privileged and comfortable journey through the African bush.
During mid-day, your guide will drive to restaurant located within the park for hot lunch while enjoy the panoramic view of the park at the backdrop. Depending with your flight you might continue with the afternoon game drive or transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Note that some flights departs earlier and others in the afternoon at 1600hrs and arrive Zanzibar at 1710hrs.
